The successful integration of telehealth made, and will continue to make, the LGBTQ+ community’s gateway to good health that much wider.Ĭare for All also means social justice for all. After supporting the LGBTQ+ community’s fight against the AIDS epidemic for over thirty years, we were uniquely prepared and motivated to take COVID-19 as seriously as possible in order to deliver our services as safely as possible. Last year, just as COVID-19 turned Pride virtual, the pandemic also required Equitas Health to convert many of our in-person services to Telehealth. Equitas Health is ready to march with the LGBTQ+ community, as we navigate how to celebrate Pride and fulfill our mission to provide Care for All in the age of COVID. Beginning with Cleveland on June 4 and ending with Newark on October 2, Ohio will host nearly 30 Pride celebrations in 2021. After Zoom Pride 2020, the LGBTQ+ community will come together to celebrate our visibility, unity, and resilience with in-person and virtual events across the state. June marks the beginning of Pride season for hundreds of thousands of LGBTQ+ Ohioans and our allies.
